Dear Community: Please take this pandemic seriously as it continues to spread like wildfire. I know this personally because I just tested positive for COVID-19. I was one of the lucky ones because my symptoms were relatively mild and I was able to continue working from home on a normal schedule during the quarantine. Our management team followed office protocol and contacted everyone I came into contact with. Even though I do my best to wear a mask, social distance, and wash my hands, I still go out in public a lot and live in a building with a shared elevator. My diagnosis has prompted me more than ever to ask people to wear masks because it’s to protect others. It’s about loving our neighbor as ourselves. I encourage everyone to get tested, even if they don’t have symptoms. Many people infected with the virus have no symptoms. As Attorney General, I am committed to keeping our communities safe and ensuring a healthy work environment for our 350 employees. We are all in this together and we will get through this by taking care of each other. Regards, Dave
