Cheap Enduro Motorcycles For Sale

Cheap Enduro Motorcycles For Sale – Every year, as winter approaches and I start my usual routine of putting my bikes away for the season, I tend to start looking forward to the upcoming model year. Come on Thanks to the good old days of pandemic, it’s hard to know when your next opportunity to attend a motorcycle show will be. Knowing this, and knowing that we’re going to start seeing a lot of buyer’s guides listing every detail of everything that will be produced in 2023, I wanted to give you my list of bikes that have caught my eye in the Enduro world.

I don’t want to go to a motocross track, but I live in Western Canada and there are endless trails in the mountains and foothills and I love exploring them. The key is a strong and fast enduro that gives me confidence on all types of terrain.

The selections take into account ease of use, mobility, price and how effectively each motorcycle fulfills the stated purpose of its category. We’re sure these bikes will be a great choice for most riders.

Is A Cheap Chinese Dual Sport Any Good?

To further define what “enduro” means, we looked at bikes that are either enduro racing compliant, or dirt bikes that aren’t meant for motocross.

The Honda CRF450RL is packed with off-road performance. The “R” reminds us that the 2023 model uses the CRF450R motocross platform and then tunes it for superior off-road performance.

Engine modifications include: a bicycle-specific camshaft to increase inertia and improve low-rpm torque, and three piston rings to improve durability. The new ECU further improves fuel injection tuning, allowing the 449cc Unicam engine to achieve 41.7 horsepower and 23.6 lb/ft of torque.

The frame is slightly wider to accommodate the 6-speed gearbox, providing wider gear spacing to take full advantage of low-speed capability and a long 6th gear for long, fast stretches.

The Showa 49mm front fork has 12 inches of travel, and the Prolink rear suspension has 11.8 inches of travel. New lightweight hand guards are standard. The Titanium’s fuel tank is 20 percent larger than the R’s, at 2.0 gallons (7.6 liters).

It’s the right car for the people around you, kept simple. Yamaha has made constant improvements to the WR250F, which is almost more of a competition bike than an enduro bike. This makes sense since most of this bike is a straight YZ250F race bike with an attached headlight.

I’m a little weird about this, but a lot of this bike comes directly from its motocross sister. The cylinder head received some rework and power was added from the bottom up. It’s not much, but early riders say it’s noticeable. The frame, clutch and brakes have all been revised, making the 2023 model the best version of the WR250F yet.

The more you push this bike, the more it rewards that aggression. Seat height is 37.6 inches, which is something to be aware of for shorter riders, but since this bike isn’t street legal, that’s probably not a factor. Weighing in at just 254 pounds wet and featuring excellent KYB suspension, throwing this bike into a corner is sure to make you smile like a madman.

Beta has once again made minor improvements to the RR-S range of legal off-road bikes. Beta offers 4 engine options for this bike, but the 500 is the best seller.

The Beta 500 RR-S is extremely quiet and weighs only 243 pounds wet, so it’s a sure stretch for your arms. To reduce power, the rear shock features a new compression damping setting with independent high- and low-speed damping rates, allowing the rider to adjust the two settings independently. The fork also gets slight valving changes, and the clutch diaphragm is new, providing easier pull and more progressive control.

Beta improves the LED headlights as well as the overall graphics and color scheme, so you should be more visible than ever on the roads and trails.

The KTM 350 four-stroke is the most popular model in its enduro range. Known for its 450-like power and 250-like handling, I chose it for my list over the 500 EXC-F. Honestly, I think this is the one I would pick from KTM’s lineup.

The 2022 model doesn’t change much from last year. The main improvement seems to come from WP’s suspension. WP Xplor 48mm fork tubes feature new oil bypass and damping adjustments. The XPLOR fork offers less friction thanks to updated outer tubes, smoother springs to reduce oil contamination, and a redesigned upper cartridge screw connection for improved rebound damping. The PDS shocks now feature new O-rings that are less susceptible to deformation, wear and fading, while new mounts provide better end-to-end resistance.

The KTM 350 EXC-F fuel-injected DOHC engine offers the best power-to-weight ratio on the market (KTM claims). It offers just the right amount of broad torque curve. If you want serious power, choose the 500 EXC-F as it offers excellent balance throughout the rev range with up to 34 horsepower.

All EXC-F models feature KTM’s lightweight chromoly steel frame, Brembo clutch and brakes, lightweight lithium battery and signature orange graphics, with blue added for 2023.

Are you ready to consider e-bikes again? There is no doubt that various electric vehicles are taking over the world and Zero is leading the way with its motorcycles.

Top Big Dual Sports You Can Buy In 2023

The FX is more geared toward the dual-sport world of dirt, but it can certainly be a competent Enduro machine. The Zero FX 2023 comes in two sizes: 3.6 kWh and 7.2 kWh. We chose the 7.2 battery, which gives a range of 91 miles and a curb weight of 289 pounds.

The new Zero has a lot to change, but experienced riders will adapt quickly. First, there’s no clutch. When you floor the accelerator, you only have one gear and power builds steadily. Secondly, the torque is large. With 78 foot-pounds of peak torque available right off the bat, this bike can help you get out of any situation with ease. Finally, it’s so quiet. All you hear is the belt turning and the wheels hitting the ground. It was weird at first, but then it became magical.

Shortcoming? I didn’t expect to throw it as hard as the KTM, the Showa suspension is good, just not on par with other suspensions on this list. The Zero FX is capable, but leans more toward dual-sport than the desired motocross level. That said, you have a bike you’ll ride around town more often than any other enduro on this list. For some, the biggest weakness is charging. Purchasing the optional fast charger ($600) reduces full charge time to 3 hours. Dual-sport bikes are impressive these days. They are on par with dedicated off-road vehicles in terms of performance, weight and technology. But man, are they expensive! It’s hard to find a new Beta, KTM, or Husky for less than $10,000. This leaves most of us heading to the used bike market in search of bargains.

This listing is specifically for bikes that are at least 10 years old. Their ratings are value and off-road capability. The size of the bike chosen represents the middle of the bell curve. We didn’t include big adventure bikes or smaller bikes with RV bumpers.

Off Road Trail Motorcycles

We have to put these bikes at the top of the list because they stink. But they’re not cheap. Finding old EXCs for sale is difficult because people tend to keep them until they die. So expect to pay a premium of about $6,000. The reason the KTM is at the top of the list of bargains is that you can recoup your investment when you sell the bike. If you sell bikes. KTM first made the EXC line street-legal in 2007 after Husqvarna proved its viability. KTM is still making the older RFS engine in 2007, but don’t let that slow you down. By any measure, this bike performs well in both 450 and 525 (510cc) configurations. The only problem is, most of the ’07s are now buried in the ground, but they still sell for around $4,500.

The Suzuki was and still is a great bike, a bit old school compared to the KTM at the top. It’s just not as light, powerful or suspended as more modern dual-sport bikes. But the price is right. A Suzuki DR-Z in good condition costs about $3,000. Age and condition play a big role, as Suzuki changed very little during its long production run.

This bike is on the list because we love it. But you may never find it. 2008, KTM
