Car Accident Columbus Ohio Recent – COLUMBUS, Ohio – A man was seriously injured after being hit by a car on the city’s southwest side early Tuesday morning, according to the Columbus Police Department.
The crash happened near Hilltop around 10:10 a.m. when a man driving a Honda Accord eastbound on Sullivant Avenue crossed the median and approached Ryan Avenue.

While investigating the crash, deputies located a black 2014 Chevrolet Equinox on St. They learned the vehicle was traveling south on US Rte 23 near Rte 762 when it veered off the road and left the median.
Deputies identified the vehicle as belonging to 33-year-old James B. of Columbus, Ohio. Executed by Daniels II. James was trapped in the car and was extricated by firefighters. Christopher Aldie Bivens, 31, of Columbus, Ohio, was a passenger and was ejected from the vehicle.
Christopher Bivens was airlifted to OSU Medical Center in critical condition. James Daniels II was transported by MedFlight to Grant Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries sustained in the traffic accident and died.
