Aimed at young children, we recommend it for under 3 years. Of course, older kids can enjoy this place too, but little kids will love it.

When you enter you will be greeted by Water World which is a water play area for all ages. They have raincoats for the kids to wear and drying stations if they get a little wet.

Toddler Town is located on the first floor and has a Nevada theme to learn about mines, the state’s animals, and more. There is a toddler-only crawl space and a nursing area for mothers.

Bring your water and snacks and relax in one of their dining/closing rooms (1 on the first floor and two on the second floor). Of course, you want to make sure there are no birthday parties going on, but there are a few places to sit and enjoy a quick supply.

They offer snacks and goodies in their gift shop for $0.50-$3.00, but it’s a bit inconvenient to get there until you buy it when you get there.

Whether it is a business trip or a short vacation, we are always looking for new and exciting opportunities to nurture our very active children. Recently, my husband and I had the pleasure of visiting the world famous Las Vegas, Nevada. Then came our two very energetic and curious children, aged 1 and 2.

Having been to Las Vegas before, I know that the bar is a bit on the fringes for kids, especially young people, to see and do. Also, I wanted to find a place away from the hustle and bustle of the strip for a more relaxed and relaxing time for us.

11 Las Vegas Museums You’ll Want To Visit

I was lucky enough to stumble upon the Discovery Children’s Museum just minutes from the main Las Vegas strip. We stayed at the Delano in Mandalay Bay and it was only a 12 minute drive. Don’t let the word “museum” fool you because it’s not like your typical museum. Las Vegas does a lot of great things, including shows and buffets. The Discovery Children’s Museum is no exception!

This three-storey building is the playground of children’s dreams. Our kids loved it so much that the two days we were in Las Vegas, we had to go both days.
