The only downside is the time – it takes ~11 hours to get from Union Station to Jack London Square.

High Speed Rail To San Jose Passes Another Hurdle

The restaurant staff circled the cars and made a reservation at 6:15 p.m. The dining car is similar to the waiting car, but the side booths are filled with families. If you are a member of two parties, you are sitting with one or two others. This is a great way to meet some of your fellow train riders. Nice and cozy with other couples you’ve never met. exclusive It’s the perfect way to have a romantic dinner. The food is average; The portion is a bit small and the price is a bit high. But it’s worth it for the experience.
The views from the windows are some of the best you’ll find on a train anywhere in the world. At our feet We drove through the San Fernando Valley and up the coast near Oxnard and Ventura. We then headed up the coast along the beaches of Santa Barbara before hitting some of the more remote beaches on the central coast near Lompoc. From here it turns inland through the fields to the north. We were lucky enough to be so close to Northern California for a beautiful sunset. Our last stop was Oakland (Jack London Square Station) where we were able to catch the BART to San Francisco. It’s a great way to travel in San Francisco. This inspired my desire to go from Los Angeles to Seattle on the Coast Starlight; So that might be our next train trip. I would personally recommend it if you have never taken the train.
