Reopens Following Deadly Crash Involving Motorcycle
As of 9:44 a.m., the northbound lanes of I-215 have reopened between Ann Road and Hulapai Way, according to the Southern Nevada RTC.
A preliminary investigation shows Nevada State Police responded to the fatal crash on eastbound I-215 at Hulapai Road at approximately 6:32 a.m.
Upon arrival, troopers located a white Honda Civic Dancer traveling west on the west side of the vee. For reasons still unknown, the Honda did not follow the marked route of travel, crossing the unprotected rock divide and crossing into the eastbound travel lanes.
The Honda continued westbound in the eastbound lanes where its left side struck the right side wall. The car continued west along the wall, where it was connected to the attenuator at the end of the east lane at Huala.
