Rear Ohlins were purchased from this member. I decided to try Brembo M4 calipers, Samco sports hoses, -1 front sprocket and 200 series Pirelli SC.

On my last track day my valve cover gasket broke so it was time to buy a new one. I started replacing hoses and calipers.

The grips and back were originally black and faded, so I anodized them gold and added a brake lever protector.

Dual Sport Motorcycles

I think I rode Chakwalla three months ago. I remember it was very hot, but I qualified for the race. We plan to hold rounds for CVMA and Wera soon

The top of the ZX is broken in the skid area because the previous owner lowered the bike and made a dent there. It broke over time so it didn’t work for a while until I found a new system.

In the meantime, I went back to Chakwala and took my son (RC51) with me. It is battered but very heavy. Good times!

Bird Fleet Manager

I went to Buttonwillow last weekend… After I bought the bike I found out that the 2nd gear was broken and the trans finally stalled in 2nd gear. I had no access to this tool at all. There was also a problem with the clutch cable, so it was interesting to fix this along the way.

Since my last track day on the ZX I came across Akrapovic’s full titanium system and installed it with a Suter slipper clutch. It’s a shame I haven’t been able to cycle much, but I found a cheap stock transformer on eBay so I’m replacing it now. Hopefully I can get back in time and install this bad boy.
