HomeGrown Des Moines – The Crescent is a great place for breakfast. They serve fresh and delicious food that is sure to please you. I love the variety of menus. Chicken salad, tomato soup and eggs benedict Florentine style. John Denver menu and grits with the best bacon I’ve ever tasted. Both mimosas and margaritas are refreshing. Made from freshly squeezed orange juice. English muffins and breads are also fresh. I also couldn’t resist trying the homemade pop tarts, which were out of this world. This restaurant is hot. So it will take a little patience. But that experience should wait. The service is efficient and friendly. The food arrived quickly. I love the French toast croissant, which is soft and delicious. Being from Texas, I am most impressed that this fast food restaurant is the best breakfast I have ever been to. Choices range from casual breakfast fare to specialties such as seasonal slaw and coleslaw. It goes without saying that each dish is carefully prepared with fresh, local ingredients. Despite the high quality, the price is still affordable. Overall, my breakfast at HomeGrown was an experience that left me full and with a smile on my face. I’m not usually a breakfast person. But this place really changed my mind. I would recommend HomeGrown to anyone visiting Des Moines. I hope to eat here again next time I’m in town. I recently had breakfast at Eggs and Jam in Des Moines and wow, this place is worth a visit. The interior is filled with beautiful images and hip hop inspired artwork. It creates a pleasant and lively atmosphere. The portions were generous and the staff were excellent which added to the overall experience. There was a bit of confusion when something went wrong on our bill. The authorities know this. But surprisingly, there was no change. I find this strange. This is especially true for places that use digital menus. However, it did not hinder our experience. The food here is delicious. we commanded brotherly love that you can touch this thing and marvel at it. This dish is just *chef’s kiss*, sweet potato but it’s beautiful. But it seems like a one-time problem. This place is popular among hip hop lovers. But the beauty is that everyone can enjoy it. I saw people in their 80s having coffee and breakfast in an amazing atmosphere. Patience is key here. can wait a little while. But the change was swift. Caretaker service is also very good. Don’t forget the wine. Because they serve amazing drinks, it’s safe to say that Eggs n’ Jam is a unique breakfast restaurant. Their fried chicken and waffles are some of the best in the state. Despite the crowds and long lines, it’s definitely worth waiting. This place is 100% home run. Trust me, you can’t go wrong with their menu. Overall, Bed and Jam gets two thumbs up from me.

Sausage patty filled with pepper. And crispy pork is a delicious food that melts in your mouth. Their coffee is a wonderful and unique dining experience. It has an unexpected undertone that adds complexity to the warm beer. The staff will make sure your cup is empty. Provides good and fast service. The highlight of my order was half a biscuit and gravy with a smoked egg, paired with an Americano coffee. The serving size is large but not overwhelming. But the prices are incredibly reasonable and PerKup has a great community. That’s hard to find these days. The staff are warm and friendly and make you feel at home. Whether you want classic pancakes, French toast, biscuits and gravy, or just eggs and bacon. Everything here is cooked to perfection. Although I have fond memories of this mom-and-pop shop in the pre-Covid era, but lately I’ve been disappointed with my food here. Sausage links are assembled on pancakes and reheated to taste. This is very different from the high quality food I have here. Despite this experience, I still recommend PerKup, a reminder here. Her beautiful work and comforting beauty bring me back. Cafe Waveland is considered the best place for breakfast in Des Moines. He is likely to be busy. That’s why I recommend coming when it’s not busy like today, we can get a seat at the bar around 12:30 and service is fast once we’re seated. Let me tell you, their steak and eggs are second to none. Cook it so it’s served with crispy hash browns, I replaced my usual toast with biscuits today. Add gravy on the other side, it’s a game changer. It was a perfect feast and I ate every bite. So far, I have only tried their breakfast menu. But I have high hopes for their food. Get ready because this place is always alive. The food may not be very hot and the filling of the drink may be a little small. I have the opportunity to visit other places. But I will come back here and another suggestion is to try the cinnamon french toast. It’s Holy This cafe has a great atmosphere and always has fun music playing from the kitchen which adds to the overall charm. Mamoa, with soft biscuits and a creamy sausage gravy, is another delicious option. I was a little disappointed with the canned mushrooms and processed cheese on the Hashbrowns, but overall. The food is delicious considering the quality and the price portion is very good Waveland Cafe is a lovely village worth a visit.

Served on a Texas bun with a great menu, my burger was cooked to perfection. Decorated with fresh materials. The fries may be some of the best in town, and the steak selection, which is second to none. I also tried the famous nachos, which have a delicious fried potato texture. Although I think the distribution of toppings could use some work. This work is of the highest level and with exceptional enthusiasm. Because they rushed to give us the key. This is definitely one of the best kept secrets of DSM, a place worth visiting for delicious food and a relaxed atmosphere. Sunday brunch can take a little longer and expect to cost around $10 per person. but trust me it’s worth the wait. Apart from the food, the wine selection is also good. You will find a great selection and a special “latte library” that is worth trying. I also found the atmosphere of the bar/restaurant appealing and the friendliness of the service appealing. Also, although it is simple from the outside, it is really spacious. And Tommy our server is very attentive and friendly. Sure, it’s smaller than most places, but it emphasizes the saying that “Size is not everything.” I enjoyed my visit to the University Library Cafe and will be back.
