Used Trike Kits For Motorcycles – The Wisconsin-based company plans to release a new trike reverse conversion kit next spring at a much lower price than its competitors. will be aimed at the Harley-Davidson market.
While there are already some Harley-Davidson conversion kits on the market, including factory trike kits, they don’t come cheap. Scorpion hopes to change that. According to their press release, they hope to come to market at about a third of the $15,000 price of their competitors.

According to Scorpion’s press release, the idea behind this kit was to create an upside down trike kit that could be added to an existing bike without having to change the structural integrity of the frame.

The first kit they built was a Harley-Davidson V-Rod conversion. After that, they say they will probably make conversion kits for FL models of Harley-Davidson frames. Future models will then depend on interest – if there is demand for Gold Wings kits, V-Stars or whatever, those options will be explored, but as each kit will be specific to a particular model, it will depend on whether there is sufficient demand to have been worthy of Scorpio.
Scorpion says buyers will need to reuse take-off parts and other dealer-bought items (wheels or brakes perhaps?) along with the equipment. They said they haven’t decided yet whether the kit will be user installed or only available to dealers and that they will provide accessories (bodywork, lighting, etc.) along with the trike kit.
For now, Scorpion says it’s testing prototypes. they hope to sell their entire line of gear for the 2015 equestrian season.
