Healthcare has a history of residency training that dates back to the 1940s. The emergency medicine residency joins six other residency programs. This allows our residents to develop friendships with other residents, but they are not competing for procedures or patient appointments.

On the first day of residency, you will meet with a teacher based on your interests. Your mentor will help you adjust as a new resident, move to a new city, and guide you on a professional and personal level.
