Polk County has a voucher program that is typically open only two days a year. In that short period of time, they still received about 3,500 applications. Tenants will save approximately $18 million annually from the subsidy.
There will now be a 60-day public comment period during which people can comment on the proposal.

HUD itself has accepted this policy as not taking any action on paper to increase the supply of affordable housing for any group in the United States .In fact, it’s estimated that HUD spends up to $227 million a year and reduces funding for Section 8 housing. This policy targets immigrants and their children. These children of immigrants have legal status in this country. They are the latest, The most vulnerable, facing the wrath of the regime. It was brief and brutal.”
