Ebay Trucks For Sale By Owner

Ebay Trucks For Sale By Owner – A few days ago, we posted about a 1993 Toyota pickup that only had 84 original miles and predicted it would do a lot. It sold on eBay on Friday for $45,100, and the winning buyer stepped in at the last minute and paid $100 more than the previous bidder.

This unusual find was purchased new in 1993, driven 80 miles, and then spent 28 years in a New Hampshire warehouse sleeping beauty. In July, another customer brought it home and only put four miles on it, presumably to make sure it was still running properly (which he says). He then put it up for auction on September 14 with a starting price of $20,000. I guess he was happy with the final sale price.

The original description of the truck is enthusiastic, with ample use of exclamation points, the seller’s acknowledgment of what he had: “This truck was purchased new in 1993 with about 80 miles on it, then in storage until it was purchased in July of this year.” ,kept unused.years.now has 84 original miles.YES!!!!!!!”

This Rugged ’85 Toyota Pickup Is Built For The Long Run

The truck is original except for the battery, fuel tank, fuel pump and fuel pickup assembly. On the outside, the truck is in great shape and is finished in an evergreen pearl with a few small dents from something falling in the barn.

Toyota trucks are hot right now, along with several other models, because the market has been completely turned upside down. Another Toyota truck that looks like Marky McFly’s Toyota Extra Cab SR5 from Back to the Future sold for $58,000 last April, and a 1990 truck with 6,000 miles sold for $29,999 in June. Moral of the story, if you find an old ‘Iota’ truck in good condition at a good price, you might want to grab it now. The absolute mother of all COE trucks for sale on eBay – incredible

We’ve expressed our love for vintage truck cabs here time and time again. We’ve posted dozens of them over the years, actively sought them out on eBay for fun, and pressured readers into buying one of our own. Many trucks have been interesting, but none hold a candle to this monster project that is about 75 percent complete for sale. The seller claims they have invoices totaling $290,000 for this truck as pictured. Honestly, once you start looking at the trucks, you’ll trust them as much as we do. Every inch of this thing is either new, custom built, restored, or otherwise touched up. As we said in the title, this is the mother of all COE trucks and someone needs to buy it to see the vision of the original owner.

To clarify what you’re looking at here, we have a 1950 Chevy COE cab extended with four extra doors and a taller roof. The chassis is a 1988 GMC Topkick 6500 powered by a rebuilt Caterpillar 3208 engine. The seller claims the engine was sent to a cat dealer and they completely tore it apart and put it back together. This engine is supported by an automatic transmission. The cab isn’t attached to the chassis at the moment, but looking at the photos, it’s mocked up and looks like it fits like a glove. The interior will have four excellent inflatable seats for the driver and passengers.

So what is this thing designed for? How about drawing whatever you need! There’s a 30,000-pound gooseneck saucer that also has its own air ride system, which is pretty cool. There’s also a standard pair of receivers if you want to pull simple little things. The wheels are the classic 22.5-inch Alcoa pieces you find on millions of trucks across the country, and the rear is wrapped in Goodyear Mondo Super Single tires.

The huge custom front bumper with integrated lights and (for lack of a better word) custom underbody looks great around the truck. Getting in and out of the cabin doesn’t seem too bad, as the hull is low enough that you don’t need a rope ladder to climb climbing steps. The photos show the production level and finish of this truck, and both of these features are literally world class…for a vehicle in its class.

The photos below and the huge collection of photos in the ad (including a Q&A with the seller) are great, you really have to click the link to see them. This truck is going to be quite the sight when it’s done. Hopefully someone we know has the cash to buy the truck (and it costs a lot) and spend an estimated $50,000-$75,000 to complete it. Apparently the seller is unable to complete the project due to forced retirement or some kind of change in cash flow. The mother of all COE trucks needs a home!

Add a few years behind them and a Japanese brand as their manufacturer, and you get something like a 1987 Toyota Pickup Xtra Cab 4×4 (VIN JT4RN67P3H5062618).

The car is currently for sale on eBay, but before the bidding starts – there are 25 bids for the car, by the way – let us tell you a thing or two about this 2.4-litre petrol 4×4 van.

And we’re inclined to believe him, especially after seeing the pictures he posts. Plus, the ute only has 44,000 miles on the clock and gets the job done effortlessly thanks to the fuel-injected 22RE engine mated to an automatic transmission.

“Runs and drives great, comes in original shape inside and out, like new from the dealer. Has a very nice red paint and gray interior with all the original features including the original stereo.”

However, the body of the car shows a few scratches and dents, but as you can see from the photo gallery, the interior is almost mint and the owner emphasizes the car.

The Toyota started at $200 and the highest bid reached $7,100 in just five days, so move fast if you’re interested.
