*Please note that mobile phone deposits are refundable. In total, deposits up to $5,000 per day are available within one business day. Typically, deposits over $5,000 per day are available within four business days. Funds may be held for a longer period of time at our discretion. See the phone deposit usage agreement for details. When you log in and select Profile, the transaction may appear in your Digital Banking account under Transactions or upon request.
Greater Alliance Federal Credit Union In New Jersey
As part of our system transition from CORE FCU to CFCU, your CORE credit card will be closed on 08/01/2023. We are offering a special promotion for CFCU credit card transfers until 08/01/2023.
*To receive additional bonus points, the card must be opened during the first purchase by July 31, 2023.
You are responsible for continuing to make payments on your CORE credit card until the balance is due. Please note that any rewards remaining on your credit card must be redeemed by 7/31/23 or they will be forfeited.

You can no longer access CORE Digital Banking. Now you can sign up for CFCU Digital Banking to view and send your bills, pay bills, deposit checks, and more anywhere, anytime.

To sign up, you’ll need your Social Security Number (SSN) or Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) and your savings or checking account number.
Your savings account number has been updated. It now has a prefix of 2200 and an extension of 1.
Your checking account number (at the bottom of the check) has not changed. If you’re using your checking account to sign up for digital banking, you’ll need to enter the full 14 digits.
You can sign up and sign in to Digital Banking by clicking the orange “Banking Sign In” button in the upper right corner of this screen and click “Sign Up” or download the CFCU Digital Banking app from the Apple Store or Google Play Store.
State Vs. Federally Chartered Credit Unions: What’s The Difference?
You can no longer access the CORE Easy-Tel phone bank. You can use CFCU Mobile Banking to check balances, make transfers between accounts, and make CFCU loan payments to a CFCU checking or savings account (excluding credit cards).

Your CORE Debit Card will no longer work, you can now create a CFCU Debit Card which you will receive in the mail in early January. To activate a new card, call the activation number on the card from your phone number. You are on file. You will also be asked to enter your PIN when you create your card.

If your debit card number is used for monthly subscriptions (Amazon, Chewy, etc.) or automatic payments (car insurance, gym membership), update all companies that have your debit card number with your new debit card number after activating the new card.
Your deposit/payment will be made automatically. If we are notified of any errors, we will post the transaction and discuss.

Only account verification is required. If you would like to know more about this service or to opt for this service, please see pages 18 and 19 of the information booklet you received in the mail.
Your existing account number remains unchanged except for the account number. We prefix your CORE account number and add the CORE account extension. Below are descriptions of the different account types.
Your existing CORE joint/savings account number(s) will now be prefixed with “2200” and include the CORE subaccount extension (as shown on your first statement).
Example: draft 2200 + member’s existing share/savings number 1234567 + addition of CORE sub-account 1 = new account 220012345671.

Your existing CORE Club savings account number will be prefixed with “2202” and will contain an attachment to your account from CORE (as shown on your first statement).
Your CORE reference number(s) will now be prefixed with “2201” and include the account extension from CORE (as shown on your first statement).
Your CORE IRA savings account number is now prefixed with “2203” and includes your CORE subaccount deposit (as shown on your CORE statement).
Your credit account numbers are now prefixed with “2204” and include your CORE subaccount attachment (as shown on your CORE statement).

You can also view your numbers in CFCU Digital Banking. Click the account you want to view, then click Account Details.
As of January 30, 2023, the CORE number has been changed to CFCU number 221381540. However, checks with the CORE brand number will be processed until June 30, 2023.
If you use a check, you must order a new check immediately. Each CORE member can order one free check. To order a checklist, send a secure message using digital banking, call members at 607-257-8500 or toll-free at 800-428-8340, or visit a branch.
You will receive your final transcript in the mail from CORE beginning on January 27th. Your first statement from CFCU will also be sent between January 28th and 31st. Even if you choose to receive electronic statements, your most recent CORE statement and your first CFCU statement will be sent.

If you currently receive or prefer to receive your statements electronically rather than by mail, sign up for eStatements in Digital Banking, even if you previously signed up for eStatements in CORE.
If you have signed up to receive electronic statements from CORE, your previous statements and other electronic (tax) returns will no longer be available online in your history. If you require a copy of previous statements or other documents, please contact Member Response at contactus@
If you have scheduled and/or automatic CORE credit check payments, those payments will continue automatically.
Your terms and payments do not change if you do not have a PRIMARY home equity loan option. For those with this particular loan, you should have received a letter with updated terms by the end of December.

Your credit card number and credit card payment information will remain unchanged for now. You can still pay your credit card by check through CORE Credit or by credit card online. You can find a link to the CORE credit card here.
By December, you should have received a booklet in the mail telling you how to report your income.
CORE members currently using CORE payments will have access to CFCU payments through our CFCU program beginning February 1, 2023. All CORE payments will be transferred to CFCU payments.
