Palm Beach County Down Payment Assistance – PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. – New financing is available for first-time home buyers in Palm Beach County, officials announced Monday.

The Palm Beach County Department of Housing and Economic Development (HED) has announced the availability of funding through the HOME Investment Partnerships program.

The funding will provide up to $100,000 to help income-eligible applicants acquire their first home. This includes the cost of acquisition, acquisition/rehabilitation, new construction, down payment and closing used as their primary residence.

The online application portal opens on Wednesday 9 October 2024 at 12:00 and closes on Thursday 31 October 2024 at 23:59. (or until 30 applications are submitted).

Applications must be submitted online and will be processed on a first-submitted, first-qualified, first-served basis, subject to the availability of funding.

Palm Beach County officials said all financial assistance will be in the form of a deferred loan, secured by a recorded mortgage, guarantor and statement of restrictions.
