Best Family Friendly Resorts In Las Vegas

Best Family Friendly Resorts In Las Vegas – There are plenty of things to do as a family in Las Vegas both on and off the Las Vegas Strip. Get up close and personal with sharks at the Mandalay Bay Shark Reef Aquarium. Explore Egyptian treasures at the Las Vegas Museum of Natural History. Or call the High Roller, a 550-foot-tall Ferris wheel next to Harrah’s. So the only question is where do you live as a family?

If you look online, you’ll find many hotel options, including hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, downtown Las Vegas, and nearby quieter towns like Henderson and Summerlin. In July we decided to live in Henderson, which is 20 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. It was close, but not too close. Our hotel also didn’t have a casino, which was good.

The Best Las Vegas Hotel For Kids And Babies

We stayed at the Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort in Henderson. It is not only a great resort but also family friendly. From delicious on-site restaurants to an outdoor playground to a family pool with a water slide, The Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort is a great choice for kids. This hotel has one of the best family pools in Las Vegas.

When we first arrived at the hotel, we headed straight to the pool and learned that the Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort has two pools. One is for adults and one for families. Even better, the family pool is no deeper than ten feet around, which was perfect for my five-year-old son. Also, the spinning slide was a big hit with my kids. They slipped up many times.

Next to the family pool is a small playground, so children can spend hours swimming, sliding and climbing and sliding again on the play structure. This kid-friendly Las Vegas hotel has an outdoor ping pong table, giant chess and checkers, and corn mazes to keep the kids entertained. Also family-friendly, it definitely deserves a spot among the best hotels for kids in Las Vegas.

The Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort has several restaurants, including the classic Rick’s Cafe and Marssa Steak & Sushi. The first night we had dinner at Rick’s Cafe. I loved the grilled western salmon. My kids loved the green spaghetti (spaghetti with pesto sauce). In the morning, enjoy a breakfast buffet or order your kids Rooty Tooti Footy French Toast. Yum.
