Nevada Heart And Vascular Center Las Vegas – The Medical Records Specialist, under the direction of the Medical Records Manager, issues and retrieves patient medical records to ensure information is accurate and complete. You will also respond to Release of Information (ROI) requests, log all approvals and releases. Other duties include preparing charts for upcoming appointments or off-site storage and scanning documents to update electronic health and medical records. All medical records professionals must be familiar with HIPAA compliance requirements.
