Wag Bend separates the pack into two groups, big dogs and small dogs. Our large dog area includes indoor and outdoor areas designed for easy exercise for your large dogs. All of our dog breeds have passed our inspection process and are walked together throughout the day. We can use it when the dog needs a break or needs to be temporarily separated from the crowd. Outside the big dogs enjoy the fresh air and in the warmer months we have small pools to play and cool off in.

I love two things: the outdoors and dogs! It was my dream to combine the two, and that’s how I created Bend Pet Adventures! I was born and raised in Palmer, Alaska and first moved to Bend in 2001. Although Bend has changed a lot over the years, I love exploring what Oregon has to offer with my three trusty sidekicks.

Swayze is an Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix who likes to chase birds and run with the pack. He is my wild child and always keeps me on my toes. He loves to love and savor the world.
Elliot is a Border Collie/Yorkshire Terrier mix who is compassionate, affectionate and loves making new friends. This mother’s boy goes a long way, but always comes back to me first. It will be your puppy’s best friend.
Lainey is a Yorkshire Terrier/Jack Russell mix and the latest addition to our pack. He is bold, full of adventure and always the first to take advantage of the rough ride. Don’t let this small package fool you, he has a big dog personality.
I grew up in the Midwest and started training horses and dogs for competitive events at the age of 10. By the time I was 16, there was no doubt that I wanted to turn my love of animals into a career. I have been in Bend since 2004 and now have over 25 years of experience as a professional animal trainer. I’ve also run a large-scale dog show, worked as a veterinary technician, managed a premier equestrian facility, and run my own dog walking business.

Maggie is a nine-year-old girl who lives to play Frisbee when she’s not mountain biking the trails or “helping” Courtney train her horse. Both Courtney and Maggie are excited to join the Bend Pet Adventures care team.
Growing up in Central Oregon, my dogs were a big part of my life. I grew up with cheese, GSP and Lab. I used to work in a veterinary clinic and with dogs, but for the past 16 years I have been a full-time massage therapist. I take care of all the pets of my family and friends. I have been sending my pup BPA for 2 years and he loves it. It’s always been my dream to make a career out of my love of dogs, so I’m excited to be a part of the fun.
Finn: He is my 3 year old GSP/Lab. He is a rescue from the Humane Society of Central Oregon and has been with me for 8 weeks. He’s a badass who loves to swim, camp, snowshoe, and jump headfirst into life’s adventures. Can’t wait to explore with your kids.
After 25 years of living in the Willamette Valley (born and raised in Eugene), I finally made the move! I moved to Bend in 2023 for my Masters in Counseling program at OSU Cascades. My lifelong love of animals (especially aggressive dogs) led me to work at the humane society in college and now at BPA during graduate school. I’m outdoorsy: I enjoy running, walking and climbing. My goal for 2023 is to teach myself to ski and mountain bike. I have 2 rescue border collies, Ellie and Kiva, and a tortie named Bean, who love to share as many adventures as possible. Dreams do come true – I’m excited to explore Central Oregon with your kids.

Ellie: Also known as “Bubba” for the past 6 years. He loves to be on the move, whether it’s running or jogging, he’s my rider.
Kiva: He’s a family man and he knows it. Her name rhymes with diva and she embodies that connection perfectly. Awkward, curious, and sometimes doubtful, Kiva is still trying to figure out how to make sense of the world. She is looking forward to making new friends at BPA!
