Fatal Accident West Palm Beach – A serious crash has caused major delays on eastbound Okeechobee Boulevard at Sansbury Way in West Palm Beach.
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – A fatal crash caused heavy traffic delays on eastbound Okeechobee Boulevard at Sansbury Way in West Palm Beach on Monday.

The crash happened shortly after 9:30 a.m. and involved two vehicles, including a pickup truck and a Mazda SUV, police said.

On Monday evening, spokesman Mike Jechels identified the driver of the pickup as William Kuebler III, 59, of Palm Beach County.
The driver of the Mazda, a 73-year-old woman, and her front seat passenger, a 19-year-old man, were taken to St. Louis Medical Center. Maryam has minor injuries. Two passengers in the backseat of the SUV, a 19-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman, were not injured. All are residents of Palm Beach County.
Helicopter 5 responded to the scene just before noon and found the vehicle on its roof in a grassy driveway. The SUV had significant front-end damage and was still in the middle of the eastbound lanes of Okeechobee Boulevard.
Traffic homicide investigators from the Palm Beach Police Department investigated the scene and interviewed witnesses. They determined the Mazda was turning west on Okeechobee Boulevard south onto Sansburys Way on a green light when the fast eastbound Explorer ran a red light and collided with the Mazda. The impact caused the Explorer to flip, hitting a traffic light pole and pinning a pedestrian railing along the sidewalk. A 2009 Honda Accord driven by Kevin Connors of Royal Palm Beach was traveling the wrong way on Okeechobee and headed east in the westbound lane shortly before 3:30 p.m.
Paramedics from the West Palm Beach Fire Department transported Connors in critical condition to Good Samaritan Medical Center, where he died shortly after arrival.

An officer is believed dead after a fatal crash involving a West Palm Beach police cruiser Friday morning in Boynton Beach.
The ship crashed into a concrete pillar and caught fire, rendering the vehicle unrecognizable.

The vehicle involved was a West Palm Beach police vehicle, and the driver and passenger were killed, Boynton Beach police officials said, but their identities have not been confirmed.

West Palm Beach police officials said they would not release any information until the Palm Beach County Medical Examiner confirmed the victim’s correct identity.
