AUSTIN – The Texas Department of Public Safety () has added two men to its 10 Most Wanted list in Texas. Magnolia’s Joshua David Whitworth is on Texas’ top 10 fugitives list. John Oliver Talmadge McMickings of El Paso is on the list of the 10 most wanted sex offenders in Texas. Texas Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $7,500 for information leading to Whitworth’s arrest and $3,000 for McMickings. All tips are guaranteed confidentiality.
El Paso Texas Warrant Search
Joshua David Whitworth, 36, Aryan Brotherhood member from Texas. He was wanted until August 2020, when the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a parole violation warrant. In December 2020, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office also issued an arrest warrant for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. He is also wanted in Montgomery County for vehicle theft and in Stone County, Ark., for theft and delivery of methamphetamine and cocaine.

In 2013, Whitworth was convicted of unlawful possession of a firearm or felony and evading arrest. He was sentenced to four years in prison by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ). In 2018, Whitworth was arrested in Arkansas for shipping methamphetamine and cocaine, where he bonded out and then returned to Texas. In 2019, he was found guilty of illegal firearm possession and sentenced to two years in prison. Whitworth was released on parole in July 2020.
Whitworth is 6 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 290 pounds. He has tattoos on his chest, back, stomach, left finger, right foot, both hands and arms, and both feet. John Oliver Talmadge McMickings, 38, had been wanted since May 2021, when the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a parole violation warrant. The El Paso County Prosecutor’s Office issued another warrant in October 2021 after he failed to register as a sex offender. In 2012, McMickings was convicted of child abuse in an incident involving a 14-year-old girl and initially sentenced to five years probation. But his probation was revoked in 2013, and McMickings was sentenced to 10 years in prison. He was later released on parole in August 2019.

Rodney Eugene Hunter, 50, is a high-risk sex offender. Special agents arrested him at a location south of Waco. Hunter had been wanted since February 2022, when the McLennan County Sheriff’s Office issued a fraudulent arrest warrant. In July 2022, the Waco Police Department issued a warrant for his arrest for failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements.
In 1992, Hunter was convicted of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and two counts of burglary. He was sentenced to three nine-year terms to run concurrently. In July 2021, the Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for the arrest of a household/family member who had served a prior sentence.
In 1998, Naranjo was convicted of attempted murder and aggravated robbery. He received two eight-year prison sentences to run concurrently.
