It’s the holiday season for us in Valley Junction as many businesses extend their hours on Friday night to give you the chance to find the perfect holiday gift, enjoy dinner, and we the free festival on 5th Street will enjoy 100,000 holiday lights. light

The Greater Des Moines Partnership and the Historic East Village Neighborhood Association will promote holiday fun in downtown Des Moines (DSM) as the Holiday Festival returns to the Historic East Village for five Fridays in 2023. For the 22nd year , the holiday season will begin on Friday. , Nov. 17, and continues every Friday until December 15.

The Summer Promenade is a free festival featuring holiday entertainment, entertainment, shopping, and family fun.
