Des Moines Airport changed the entrance because they had frequent traffic problems in the Fleur area. “When you were at the airport, you had to start making decisions. Next year, 1,100 seats will be added, and by 2028, Des Moines International Airport will have a brand new terminal — the old one will be gone. Foley explained that rebuilding the Des Moines airport will take time, but it will be worth it.

Des Moines Airport actually receives 300 or more international flights a year. None of them are commercial, they are all general aviation from companies like Vermeer, Principal Financial Group, Corteva and others.
