We spent the first night at the Delano and the remaining 3 nights at the Polo Towers in a 2 bedroom suite.

I had several free night stays at various hotels in Vegas, but all my options were studio rooms, which was not good for the three of us.
The only downside of our time was that the 3rd person position was only on the couch.
Mgm Resorts Adds Delano To July 1 Reopening List
Luckily we were only there for one night and the bed was bigger than the average hotel room sofa.
Cots had to be brought for this too but it was a minor inconvenience.
There is also a separate half bath off the living room which is very comfortable with a 3rd person sleeping in the room.
The bathroom has a wonderful jacuzzi tub and a TV, so I spent most of my night there.
Weekend In Las Vegas
It is not in the middle of the strip, but it is connected to all the resorts and casinos in its area.
So you don’t have to go outside when it’s 120 degrees in the winter or 120 degrees in the summer.
You can travel to Delano, Mandalay Bay, Luxor, Excalibur and New York without walking the streets!
To be honest, I had never heard of this resort until JP took his son there for his 21st birthday a few years ago.
Delano Las Vegas Expert Review
It’s not the most talked about resort in my experience like the Bellagio or Caesar’s Palace.
We never went to that end of the strip and it was easy to do so.
The Delano King Suite has a sink, Keurig and refrigerator as well as a nice wet bar in the living room.
In Vegas, many hotels and resorts now stock their freezers, so you pay for anything you take out there and you can’t freeze your own.
Delano Las Vegas To Reopen July 1
It would be nice to have a sink to wash everything instead of doing it in the bathroom.
With a free award stay you usually pay a resort fee, which is usually $35-$45 per night depending on the resort.
Places like Delano and Bellagio are on the high end, and places like Paris and Bally’s (Horseshoo) are on the low end.

South Beach meets desert Zen at this all-suite tower in Mandalay Bay. Elegant wet bars, large 42-inch plasma televisions, plush carpeting, white rooms and floor-to-ceiling windows make guest rooms an oasis in the Nevada desert; In the foyer, stone and muted tones give it a back-to-nature feel. The property is connected to the rest of Mandalay Bay but has its own check-in, swank coffee bar, see-and-be-seen lounge and 24-hour restaurant. Delano guests enjoy full use of Mandalay Bay’s expansive pool complex and beachfront, as well as access to the Bathhouse Spa and its gymnasium. All of this is definitely on the high end, but the prices are surprisingly competitive with other top hotels.
