Purchased from grandson of original owner, his uncle bought it new in Ava Missouri, LETHCO SALES AVA MO dealer badge on back, also lived in Oklahoma and Texas. Doesn’t run but turns, shows 27,000 on odo, some small areas of rust. Found about 8 bikes in South Carolina on Craigslist today, woo hoo.
Keep it up and running, and drive it, it looks like original paint, so probably give it a good clean, remove as much rust as you can, and lock it up. Fix the seats, install new carpet if I can’t clean it, be a good car driver. I think the Championship 8 wheel will continue this.

I had a 61 Catalina convertible that I traded in, it was more of a project, but pretty much the same body.
I don’t think you have to change anything, the hubs of the wheels are aluminum brake drums that bolt on like the rear wheels, and the fronts go to the axles with axle nuts, then bolts to the steel wheels the pre-65 wheels are smaller. Over 65 and not interchangeable, see:

In 1966 I think it had a bubble top Ventura 61. It was a beautiful car. This balloon is really hot in summer! Good thing you have AC! I had a “Slim Jim” trans and the valve would stick when shifting from 1st to 2nd. When it did, it was very strong in 2nd. 389 with 2 bbl carbs. If only that car could talk! He replaced it with a 66 Vette. I wish I still had them both LOL. Enjoy your search.

Old thread, but I would definitely be interested to know what happened to this car. Always liked the look of the 60-63 Pontiacs. I had a really good friend and mentor who had a 60, he upgraded to a real super duty 62 with all aluminum. Body parts minus the heavy duty engine. Unfortunately, both disappeared.
