Surprise Elementary School is an elementary through 8th grade school in the Union School District. Surprise Elementary School provides an innovative atmosphere where leadership and student success promote a Surprise Strong culture. We enable our students to succeed in the diverse world in which we live. Surprise offers students a program in computer science and engineering. We offer electives/specialized courses that provide opportunities for design thinking, computer science and engineering. We want our students to be prepared for success in an ever-changing world. We want to empower our students, help them realize their potential and equip them with the skills they need to succeed in school and in life. Countryside Elementary School is an elementary through fourth grade school in the Union School District. Our mission, launched in 2002, is to promote individual well-being and success for all by engaging the whole child in “Strong Hearts, Strong Minds and Strong Bodies.” At Countryside Primary School we promote lifelong learning through exploration, encouragement, innovation and collaboration. We value high educational standards that prepare our children for the future. We encourage social responsibility by promoting good behavior, good relationships and fun. We maintain positive relationships through communication, respect and leadership in our diverse community.
The school is located in downtown Surprise, Arizona, just south of the intersection of Greenway Rd and Parkview Place. We are close to Vista Center of the Arts, Surprise Baseball Stadium, Valley Vista High School and Ashton Ranch Middle School.
We believe that college and career preparation includes proficiency beyond the basics of reading, writing and math, as well as exposure to social studies and science to inspire our students to be good people.
