Des Moines Orthopedic Surgeons West – A Mount Vernon native and Mayo Clinic graduate, Dr. Barron Bremner joined Orthopedic Centers in 2007. Dr. Bremner’s practice includes most general orthopedics, although he has a particular interest in sports medicine, arthroscopy and joint replacement less invasive. Dr. Bremner has obtained additional subspecialty certification in sports medicine, an area he is passionate about. Receiving three prestigious awards from the Mayo Clinic during his residency, Dr. Bremner specializes in hip and knee procedures, as well as other sports injuries and conditions.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Bremner enjoys leading an active lifestyle playing tennis, cycling and weightlifting. He also provides lateral orthopedic coverage for Johnston High School and Grand View University.
