States That Recognize Concealed Carry

790.015, Florida Statutes. section allows Florida to recognize concealed handgun permits issued by other states if the other state agrees to recognize Florida’s concealed handgun permits.
Florida has reciprocal agreements with the states listed below. A Florida concealed handgun permit is valid in one of these states, and concealed handgun permits issued to residents of those states are valid in Florida; features are displayed.

Blue states recognize Florida’s concealed handgun permit, and Florida recognizes its own state permit, called a reciprocal. That doesn’t mean blue states have similar laws. Red states are anti-American states. These states have some of the strictest gun laws and do not cooperate with Florida’s CCW. Personally, I would avoid red states altogether. But if you need to enter one of these states, you can find each state’s gun travel laws below. Knowing every gun law before entering a red state is a really big deal.

Concealed Carry Classes
My family and I visit our family in Canada every year. Thirty-six hours of driving and there’s no way in hell I’m going cross-country without a gun.
Great question, I found an old oak tree in North Dakota and hid my gun next to it. Just kidding, I found a gun shop in North Dakota. I take the gun in for repair, usually just to clean it, and the gunsmith tells me, “Your gun will be ready for pickup tomorrow.” “Okay, see you in three weeks,” I replied.
Then I’ll get back on track. You may want to use this strategy if your next destination is red, but again, this only applies to travel.
I know what you’re thinking, “I can’t bring a gun on a plane,” you’re right, but it can be in your checked baggage.
A Traveler’s Map For Carry In The Us
It’s important to note that your gun or firearms must be legal in your home state, and if you’re vacationing in New York, make sure you’re prepared for any legal issues. From what I heard, New York State is being fined $15,000 for a gun my kids can eat like candy.
As you can see from the map, Florida has many states with concealed carry permits.
Just don’t think you can carry a gun in Florida. Each state has its own laws, and it’s important to do your research before reaching for a gun.
Thus, if you are traveling or flying to a red state or Canada, you need to make sure you understand the laws thoroughly or you could be in trouble.
What Is Constitutional Carry?
Florida’s concealed carry permit is a good guide, but you still need to make sure you’re aware of individual state laws.
This is the official NRA website. They provide bullet points about each state’s gun laws. The NRA also lists laws, changes and news that affect each state.
The most up-to-date list of all states where you can legally carry a firearm with your concealed carry permit in Florida. After a resident fills out an application and meets the requirements, the state decides who is allowed to cover. Some states allow only residents, while others allow some non-residents, such as members of the military.
Everyone is state licensed and qualified for coverage. Some states allow only residents, others allow some or all non-residents.
Non Resident Vs. Resident Concealed Carry Permits
Please note that ‘excluded’ countries may not require permission, making them ‘constitutional carriers’. If a state permits, the state is classified as having the first permit. As of April 14, 2022, Vermont is the only state that has never allowed it.
In many “constitutional carry” states, permits are issued in response to demand and enforcement (concealed carry in other states) or for other reasons. If the state says “no permit” and “residents only,” the state only allows residents, but non-residents can carry without a permit.
We do not honor reverse concealed carry permits (the ability to carry in a state other than the state of residence). Thus, some nonresidents may carry in states that allow residents to carry unless that state requires a permit. We also do not track temporary shared licenses.
A nonresident with a valid license from another state is a Mississippi military or retired law enforcement officer who has established a state residence.

Part-time residents or a person who has a main job or main job in the country.
Non-residents on full-time military duty in the state of North Dakota and non-residents must be returned to North Dakota if they have a concealed carry permit from their state.
Adults who have resided for at least 30 days and are not prohibited by state or federal law from possessing a firearm and in North Dakota require a valid state nonresident concealed carry license.
In order to obtain a Pennsylvania license, non-residents must obtain a license to hold in their state.
Massachusetts Ccw Gun Laws
Non-residents who have a permit from their state can apply for a permit through their local law enforcement agency.
Non-residents can apply for a permit if they regularly work in the state and have a valid concealed carry permit in their home state. They can apply only after six months of employment and then only during the first six months of employment.
Non-residents who are at least 21 years old and have a state permit can also apply for a permit.
