This was the first federal reentry program administered jointly with a law school in the United States. She has worked with federal candidates as a law student advocate in the program and has also conducted outreach at Marion County prisons, churches and fairs. The goal of the program was to help ex-offenders return to work and succeed in society. In the summer of 2018 she also clerked for the Honorable Judge Wendy W. Davis in the Criminal Division of Allen Superior Court, which furthered her interest in criminal law.

After graduation, you worked for the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office, where you handled child support, misdemeanor and felony matters. After three months in the office, you became the OVWI attorney in the Allen County Courthouse. During this period he dealt with all HTV and OVWI criminal cases falling within the Court’s jurisdiction. At the time he was the youngest criminal prosecutor in Allen County. After accepting this position, she practiced family law and handled cases involving protective orders. She currently works part-time as a misdemeanor public defender in Allen County.
