St. Louis County officials found the vehicle “fully engulfed” just after 4 a.m. A Nissan Maxima crashed into a tree on Keefer Creek Road. It was unclear what caused the one vehicle that was still under investigation Monday.

The three teenagers are Cole Enloe, 16; Reagan Sajben, 15; Jacob Keefer, 15, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Anlo is driving.
Two other teenagers, a 16-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl, were taken to hospital. They are expected to survive.
At least some of the teenagers were students at Rockwood School. Classmates arrived at the scene on Sunday to create memorials of flowers, stuffed animals and balloons.

St. LOUIS – One person was killed and two others were injured Monday in a three-vehicle crash at an intersection in the Hamilton Heights neighborhood of St. Louis.
Three others were in stable condition or had minor injuries as of 3:20 a.m. Monday. Accident at Boulevard and Hamilton Road.
Police have not identified the dead man or the injured man and woman who were walking with him.

The deceased was traveling eastbound in a 2018 Chevrolet Impala when he crossed the westbound lane. The Impala struck a 2011 GMC Sierra minivan at the intersection with Hamilton.
The 46-year-old man driving the truck and his 34-year-old passenger were in stable condition, police said. A boy was also in the car, but his condition was not released.
The 49-year-old man was driving the Tesla and police said he was refusing medication. A 41-year-old woman who was a passenger in the Tesla suffered minor injuries, police said.
