The fireplace and super comfy pillows made me question whether or not I wanted to go to therapy. I decided to give it a try and enjoyed the 80-minute cactus and desert lily firming treatment. This body scrub was made from a cactus brush I brought home as a party favor. (The result!) I felt like a celebrity on the show getting the ultimate body toning treatment at the spa. There are different pools to choose from depending on the desired temperature. After a short soak, I couldn’t resist going to the sauna. Which is very relaxing and fun for me.

Ready for a big change in Delano? The Bathhouse Spa remains as the resort transitions from THEhotel, but from September 1st. with a new set of procedures. Located on the second floor of the resort, the Bathhouse is 15,000 square feet with 13 treatment rooms and possibly the most exciting spa. The private suite features a four-by-eight-foot soaking tub beneath a magnificent 23-foot ceiling.
A new treatment menu has been launched using local ingredients such as cacti and wild flowers. Including immune-boosting milk and honey with raw edible bee pollen from the Mojave region.
Global Journeys’ new procedures reflect traditional rituals from the region where parent company Morgans Hotel Group has hotels. Incorporating Asian, Indian, European and “island flavors”, each relaxing trip includes a menu of holistic treatments. Top it off with tea pairings from the region the tour is named after.
