Here you will find a place where people with life-limiting illnesses and their families can meet with professional staff who support their end-of-life decisions with incredible care and compassion. As a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing end-of-life care to the community, the Paula J. Paula J. Baber Hospital was built with our patients and their families in mind. Our guest rooms have many unique features that make them feel less like a hotel and more like your home. We make sure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. We offer various equipment and accommodation for this.

Our hotel is named after Paula J. Baber. Paula was truly a wonderful woman. Calm and stable, she was a supportive wife and mother, a strong and respected woman. Paula spent hundreds of hours volunteering at Trinity Regional Medical Center throughout her life.

Sometimes hospice patients develop symptoms that are not easily controlled with normal home care and require more urgent treatment. Whenever situations arise that require additional care that you cannot provide at home, hotel services are available. The hospital provides care and comfort to terminally ill patients and their families in a peaceful, homely environment.

When a patient cannot receive adequate care at home and requires hospital care, hospital professionals provide care in a 24-hour supportive environment. A hospice team in a hospital or nursing home can also provide hospice care in the community if dedicated hospice facilities are not available. Hospice care is considered temporary care, so the patient is discharged once symptoms are under control by the primary care provider.

The initial level of balancing is static balancing. This patient should be monitored more closely than can be provided by the primary caregiver at home.

General hospital care is required when uncontrolled pain and symptoms cannot be successfully managed at home or when more urgent care than hospital care is required. This may be due to the frequency or severity of the pain or symptoms. It is still considered a short-term treatment, so when the pain and symptoms are under control, the patient is treated in an outpatient clinic or hospital.

Caring for a loved one in their last years can be physically and emotionally difficult. Sometimes the only way for primary care patients to continue to provide quality hospital care is for the patient to rest or relax. Primary caregivers provide respite services to hospice patients who need rest, which is usually and often necessary for the caregiver’s physical and mental health.
