SAN ANTONIO – Two people, including the 17-year-old driver, were taken to the hospital after a rollover crash on Highway 281 Monday morning, the San Antonio Police Department said.

According to police, a 17-year-old passenger in a Hyundai Sonata was traveling south on Highway 281 when he left the highway for an unknown reason.
Police said the teen was driving on the grassy median between the highway and access road when their vehicle was on the north side of the overpass. That’s when the sedan left the embankment north of Biters Road and overturned, police said.
SAPD said the vehicle’s two occupants were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash and were transported by EMS to an area hospital in stable condition.
