Jetblue Nonstop Flights From Boston – JetBlue will expand transatlantic service in 2024 and play a role in the airline’s overseas expansion.

The airline will launch seasonal services from New York to Dublin and New York to Edinburgh in 2024, as well as year-round services from Paris, the airline announced on Wednesday.

Dublin and Edinburgh will become the airline’s fourth and fifth transatlantic markets. The carrier currently offers a daily non-stop service to London and Amsterdam from and daily non-stop service to London, Paris and Amsterdam from New York.

“Our seasonal summer service to Dublin and Edinburgh brings a new level of service and low fares to these markets that have been dominated by high-priced airlines for decades,” Robin Hayes, CEO of JetBlue, said in a statement. “We look forward to introducing the JetBlue experience to business and leisure travelers traveling to and from Ireland and Scotland this summer.”

JetBlue service is “highly anticipated” from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport from April 3, 2024, airline officials said in a news release.

JetBlue, the largest operator at Logan Airport, first announced new Paris services from New York in 2022 and said both will start in 2023. 2024.

Seasonal service to Dublin Airport from Logan International Airport, as well as John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York, will begin on March 13, 2024 and continue until September 30, 2024. Customers will fly on JetBlue’s Airbus A321neo, which will depart. Logan at 10:30am. and arrived in Dublin at 8.45am the next day.

For the Paris service, customers will fly on JetBlue’s Airbus A321 Long Range (LR) aircraft, departing Logan at 7:30 p.m. and arrived in Paris at 9:15 the next morning.

Daily seasonal service to Edinburgh from New York’s JFK Airport will begin on May 22, 2024. The airline says it will also add a second flight from JFK to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport on June 20, 2024.

JetBlue offers flights to Paris with fares currently on sale for $599 roundtrip for the Core experience and starting at $2,499 for the Premium Mint experience.

Etihad Airways flights are launching direct flights between Abu Dhabi this month and Southwest Travel has just launched a sale with one-way flights down to $49.

JetBlue has taken steps to quickly expand its European footprint, paving the way for nonstop flights from Boston to Dublin starting next month, and Paris the following month. Future flights will offer travelers additional direct routes to some of Europe’s most iconic cities, without the hassle of searching. According to an announcement on JetBlue’s official website, tickets for this new transatlantic journey are already on sale.

The airline’s ambition to grow its international presence has been evident since it launched flights to London from its hubs in Boston and New York in 2022. Its transatlantic operations expanded to Amsterdam in 2023, and now Dublin and Paris have been tapped to join its ranks. However, the Boston-based company also faces challenges in ensuring it expands its fleet through a merger with Spirit Airlines – a move that is currently being debated in court. The Boston Globe details the current hurdles facing the airline, which faces an appeal following a judge’s ruling that blocked the expected merger.

However, JetBlue is continuing its flight, although there is some unrest on the horizon with reports of seven Airbus planes being grounded for engine inspections due to issues with Pratt & Whitney production. The airline appealed to its new investors, but warned that the number of affected aircraft could rise to 15 by the end of the year. This represents a potential setback that could impact the airline’s performance and expansion plans in the near future.

JetBlue is expanding their route map and as they add more flights it will certainly help the Boston, Fort Lauderdale and New York markets.

It also increases the frequency of service on more than twenty routes from New York JFK, Boston, Ft. Lauderdale, Hartford and Westchester. Personally, I’m excited to see more nonstop flights from Boston to the Caribbean!

On January 8, 2019, JetBlue will also no longer serve Washington-Dulles (IAD), Daytona Beach (DAB) and St. Louis. Cross (STX). Luckily for those in the Northern Virginia region, you can still find many JetBlue flights from DCA.

Overall, I’m excited about this new roadmap because it will have a positive impact living in the Boston area. JetBlue has become one of my favorite airlines for their nonstop service from Boston and I look forward to seeing it continue to improve!
