Dallas, OR. December 1, 2023 – The Columbia Gorge Community College Foundation recently held its annual scholarship luncheon to honor individual, corporate and institutional donors who support the Foundation’s student mission. . School and life.

Longtime donor and college supporter Juanita Nilling shared her senior college journey from computer programming to learning Spanish to help her family prepare for the holidays.

To date, Neitling has earned more than 95 credits, and the David and Juanita Neilling Scholarship, which she and her beloved husband founded, has supported CGCC students for more than a decade. Following Ms. Neethling’s inspiring story, Daniel Perry of Brookfield Renewable US announced his organization’s continued support of the school’s electromechanical technology program, pledging $25,000 toward student scholarships and program development.
