I can also come home and … voila … I can take off my shoes and walk into the house instead of carrying him home on the couch. It is more convenient. Thanks Andrew, I can do that.

Gratitude Day #10… I am thankful for my little brother, Tyler, and my future sister-in-law, Shelley. Today is her birthday and Shelly means more to my kids and me. ….I tend to slack off on the tech side on vacation, so I’m grateful. Days 3, 4 and 5 of gratitude are to my oldest daughter, Alyssa, the person who changed me for the better. Maxwell, my middle son, was my next miracle baby that we thought we would lose 7 days after birth. My son is better than I look. Thank goodness I put them both outside in the sand and sun yesterday.
Today I am thankful for my little son. It stretches me in ways I could never have imagined. She is my bitter baby. She is our second miracle child in her own right. I wanted to have a c-section with him so I did a good thing. After the doctor delivered, he said it was a good thing I had a C-section because the umbilical cord was actually in a knot, which meant I would have died if I had been born naturally. .
He is a perfect blend of not only my husband and I but also his older brother and sister. Today I leave for a week and break my heart a little. He understands his song, I sing to him…”Sweet baby, sweet, sweet baby, sweet, sweet baby.”
