San Jose police responded to the scene of a car crash that left one person dead and three others taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police received a report at 10:10 p.m. The San Jose Police Department reported a single-vehicle collision Tuesday near Gurdwara Avenue and Carrera Court in East San Jose.
Multi Vehicle Crash In San Jose
Authorities said a 2001 Honda Civic with four teenagers inside was traveling south on Gurdwara Road when it struck a tree in the middle and overturned.
Police stated that one of the youths died on the spot and three others were seriously injured. The collision resulted in the city’s 46th and 47th fatalities in 2021.

The victim’s identity was not released until the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office released information after family was notified.

One person was in critical condition Wednesday night after a car crash in San Jose, according to a fire official.
Around 11:45 p.m. On Wednesday, firefighters responded to the intersection of Blossom Hill Road and Winfield Boulevard, where a rollover accident occurred, fire officials said.
According to San Jose Fire Chief Brad Cloutier, crews freed the unidentified driver, who was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
The cause of the crash is under investigation and it was not immediately clear whether wet roads, drugs or alcohol were factors.

According to Tepoorten, the man driving the Honda fled the scene and remains in custody. He looks 40 years old, slim and wearing a red dress.
San Jose firefighters extricated two men from the Honda and took them to a local hospital, where one was pronounced dead and the other was in critical condition.
According to Tepoorten, the drivers of the Tesla and Dodge were not injured. They sit on stage and join the event.
