But when her pet grew up, she quickly realized that not everything was as she expected and shared her story on her TikTok account (@maggizine).
“I took my dog off Craigslist and bought her as a purebred Shih Tzu puppy,” the dog lover said.
He then revealed a picture of a young dog, but said he couldn’t find the previous picture and the one he showed was half the size and too fluffy.
After they brought him home, he started to get bigger and his features slowly started to appear.

However, the Guptas quickly discovered that there was something a little different about the puppy they wanted to buy. “When we got to the breeder and saw him in person, we realized he was not a Shih Tzu,” she said.
