Reno is better known as “The Smallest City in the World”. This slogan was chosen as the winner of the competition in 1929 and a few years later, when the city grew significantly due to the legalization of gambling in Nevada and liberal divorce laws.

Reno is famous for its casinos, which are the biggest attraction in the city.
