A: One-third of our business is in airports and two-thirds in rural markets. And the rural market has grown exponentially with contract businesses that include corporate clients and street fighters. A: We will be back online for our entertainment customers. 25% of our business is entertainment and the rest is contracts. During the pandemic, when deliveries and car deliveries were difficult, we decided to prioritize long-term contracts with business and insurance customers, because they have been with us for decades. Q: Car rental prices have increased a lot since the pandemic. The price is still high and what do you see for the future?
A: As demand has slowed, we have seen average prices for the year, but we are happy with current prices. People continue to travel. Price is also a factor because we are in a rural market. It depends on the availability of the car, the destination, the type of car you want to rent. Therefore, there are many different factors that affect the price. The experience must be positive, but we feel good about the price.
Answer: We certainly won’t be buying as many cars as we used to. The range of cars is shrinking, but we are in a better place. And so we work with all our OEM partners, not just the big three in Detroit, but we have a good relationship. We talk to them every day and look for what is right for them, what is suitable for us. And so we have a very good feeling about the offer of cars in the second half of the year.

Question: Used car prices increased in 2021 and then decreased in 2022. However, they remain high in part due to the lack of supply from car rental companies that return cars on the market. Do you think this is normalization?
A: We expect it to continue to rise. We don’t have a crystal ball. We watch it in the market, how we sell these cars when they are on lease, how we sell them to our dealers, how many and how many, who needs them. It is very important to maintain a high residual value for the manufacturer so that the customer gets a good and maintained car. We also have a very large dealership, as do our dealers. Price is good but increasing.
A: Although our mileage has increased and we are keeping our cars longer, our customer service has not improved. So the peak is around 2022. It has decreased this year.
