Voschel overcame the difficulties of studying, changing career, school and balanced family life and realized her dream of opening her own practice in Iowa.

In November 2010, Coby Voschel decided to volunteer at a free full-time public dental clinic organized by the Iowa Mission.
Without a career plan, Vochel, a senior at the University of Des Moines Metropolitan, drove to the event at the Cedar Rapids Stadium. When he walked in and saw the process, he was surprised.
“The whole arena is full of tents, lines and areas set aside for specific procedures. It’s like anthill,” Voschel said. “I’m glad to see that it will not be a boring day.”
Voschel was assigned to a team transporting patients to an anesthetic tent staffed by a second-year dental student at the University of Iowa. It’s a lucky place.
