Arizona Motorcycle Street Legal Requirements

Arizona Motorcycle Street Legal Requirements – Hello everyone, I would like to get some information from AZ members who take the RZR on the road. I went to the DMV and they said if I want to drive an RZR on the road here in Phoenix I have to register it.

“Mainly on the highway” and pay the actual registration fee (about $ 500). Did anyone else register this way? Does anyone here have trouble stopping in a big city like Phoenix? Thank you very much for your contribution.

The redesigned AZ MVD is a total cluster. There are many complaints about UTV registration.

Motorcycle Safety Laws Specific To Arizona

Not sure if your district has any restrictions, but there should be no reason to travel primarily on the road. I listen to her all the time and she talks to others and the recording changes.

I have been off the main road for many years and there is no way they will know if I am off the road or on the road for miles. I heard they tagged, now there is no “MC” tag. Not sure if it exceeds the 2500 # limit.

What has changed? Last year my registration for my rzr was $ 10.05. This year is $ 235.00. My long-distance sticker with a section on the highway is still $ 25. What do you miss me for?

Not sure if it exceeds the 2500 # limit. I drove to Havasu, Cottonwood, Sedona, Munds Park, Chino Valley, and Williams and it never disappointed me. But I have never driven in the city limits of a big city like Phoenix. I just renewed the registration for $ 10.50 AZ RZR Continue registration? What has changed? I decided since I had never used my ’16 XP4 1K on the road and the PRO exceeded the 2500lb mark (over $ 500 vs. $ 25) I just declared the Pro “off road only”. Not sure if the OP actually exceeded £ 2500 or if the agency did not know the rules.

MVD is now really in more pain. I bought an ATV in Utah on April 30 and tried to register it here in AZ. I realized that there were no queues for incoming calls (usually endless presses with distorted music and the same ⁇). You just have to call them until you have the right time and someone picks you up. After posting the photos, they introduced me to the tax process, title deeds, registration, OHV license plates and stickers. It took over an hour and the temporary label I printed was odd compared to the 5 before I registered. When the actual board arrives, it has the same number, no “RV” like the others. The moon sticker is “Perm” and the OHV sticker says “No Sticker”.

I recently tried to keep the OHV sticker on my 2017 ATV. It continues to deny my online payments. After 45 minutes on the phone, the agent said the price of my vehicle continued to rise to $ 109,000 and was reporting a bug, refusing to renew. She took my email and promised to fix the problem she did the next day.

I bought and registered Pro XP 4 in January, can not remember exactly how much I paid, but it must be under $ 100 and I am legally a motorcycle brand. And I took mine to the gas station and to my friend without issue. I do not know what they are going through, but according to the service manual, the dry weight is 2038 pounds.

I think I’m thinking about something else. Obviously it weighs 1800lbs and I remember the seller warned me to go overboard but I can tell MVD to get lighter wheels and so on. And he knew people who paid low (maybe you!).

I also thought the RZR might be primarily Off-road or DOT would have a say (because everything stops at 1000cc, right?) Is yours primarily on the highway?

Hello, thanks for your reply. One thing is for sure, it is very difficult to find real information about what you can and cannot do. I keep hearing that rzr’s is legal on the road but not available on the highway or that you need DOT-licensed tires and all that is good and good, but where is this information? I have Pro XP and registered it primarily for highways because I live in the Phoenix area where you do not see rzr on the road too often. It may be a waste of money ($ 532), but I think I will do it for at least a year.

I’m not sure if the law varies from district to district. I bought XP4K last spring, not from a dealer. He took my title and purchase agreement for the MVS title in Apache Junction. It comes with a legal license plate and an OHV logo. Less than $ 40. You drove in the AJ, 60, around Superior, and lots of space in between.

With Covid, can a third-party licensed location in Phoenix be tested? MVD in AJ is always busy even before the current situation. Good luck.

There is nothing wrong with having a turn signal, although I highly recommend it because some people do not know the turn signal. What that means and you need it in some states like Utah.

I heard the same thing on MVD. You can not go to dinner in your rzr. But I was mainly registered off the road. How do they know you just 100 miles and 5 miles on the road? They can not.

I paid only $ 4.50 for the first few years and then the public safety fee came in and an extra $ 5, but I think it’s over.

Not sure what kind of letter they can write you if you are on the road where most of you are off that road. Even though I was fired, I still had money for many years.

You also need an appointment now to do it at MVD. Now it’s a real pain and you will get half the different answers when the system changes.

I can do all my vehicles online and refurbish and even OHV decals. And yes they sent me a new registration instead of the OHV sticker but I showed them the error online and they sent me the correct sticker within a few days.

Another thing about MVD Now is that it is the only way to get a refund on your label if you sell that car.

28-1177 Must have off-road number plates if the vehicle is intended for off-road A use weighing less than 500 2,500. (However # 28-5801 seems to contradict this section)

Debate Continues Over Az Motorcycle Helmet Law

28-5801-E Reduces $ 3 fee if omnidirectional vehicles are primarily intended for off-road use and weigh 1, 1,800 or less.

28-2532 This seems to be a catch-all section to raise if any of the registration sections are violated.

Your OHV sticker allows you to “cross” on state land, but you need a permit when you stop or restart.

Most areas are marked as having no entrance, but if you do not know where you may be driving, get a permit. Only $ 20 per family.

Motorized Bicycle Laws By State

The “Where to Ride” link only shows all the “Open Areas” that I’m not interested in riding. I spent years exploring Utah, but not much in my home state beyond what I could reach from my driving route.

So where does it leave state-licensed RZRs? I have an S.D. Road license and road insurance with all requirements such as lights, horns, tires. I look forward to visiting your beautiful state this winter when our Colorado streets are covered in snow. Can I drive from the hotel to the railway if I escape the interstate?
