Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys Instagram – Edit: January 10, 2021. It is with great sadness and respect that we announce the passing of our beloved founder Russ Brown, the first riding lawyer. Everyone here at Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys is grateful for his passionate contributions to the motorcycle community and proud to carry on his legacy. Thank you, Ras, for your opinion. With all of us building BAM (Free Classified Assistance for Motorcyclists) and an energy law firm completely dedicated to riders, every bike is forever safe and secure. Copy Russ Brown, we miss you!

As someone who worked closely with him every day, traveled with him and admired him greatly, I can tell you that all the legends about this man are true. Russ is an accomplished rider with dozens of miles on two wheels, a devoted friend, husband and father, a shrewd businessman, and a fearless advocate for motorcyclists. He was inducted into the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum Hall of Fame in 2013 for his longtime dedication and contributions to the cycling community.

Fifteen years ago, in what he describes as “the best decision he ever made,” Russ assigned the case to Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys® (Brown, Koro & Romag, LLP in California) to rider and law partner Chuck Koro. . Russ then focused on marketing and relations and providing his own training, building his own expertise. Russ then brought in Jim Romag, then a very successful partner in Chicago, IL, to head our Northern California office. He built a team to take the company to new heights and (of course) succeeded as usual. Chuck and Jim identify exciting solutions and settlements while maintaining the philanthropic side of the RBMA and growing financial support from the racing community. What was the result? Not much has changed here, except that Rass Brown Motorcycle Attorneys® is bigger and stronger than ever.

It’s important to understand that Russ decided to come back (“retirement” is an offensive term for him and not in his vocabulary) to lend his guidance and experience. He does this for two reasons – because 1) he cares deeply about the safety of motorcyclists and 2) he is a very intelligent person. It is important to him to preserve what he has worked so hard to build. He made sure that his legacy and good name would live on and that BAM’s network of volunteers and riders would continue to thrive, even in 15 years, when of course he might be gone.

Russ Brown is the original motorcycle advocate, the first in the country to call himself one in 1975. He didn’t go out looking for niche training—Ross did. A “man of the people” and a big tough bear of a boy with a heart to match, Russ’ mantra in the office is always: customer first. Our trademark: We Drive, We Care, We Succeed® is not so much our marketing slogan as it is a true statement of who we are. Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys® are Riders helping Riders®, and that’s what it is.

Today, it is impossible to know what a law firm is by looking at a website or an advertisement. There are plenty of posers, paid referral services, and lawyers who use the law match but call themselves motorcycle accident lawyers. Braun, Coro and Romag, all LLP systems are designed for injured motorcyclists and we have decades of experience in the field. Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys® is the premier network of the best motorcycle accident attorneys in the US (without a doubt, though you’ll lose!).

Thank you for all you have done and continue to do for the motorcycle community. And to me and my co-workers at Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys®, in the office and in the field, we love and respect you and we’re so grateful for the great work environment you’ve created. Thank you for your wisdom, passion, high standards and fighting for what is right. We are proud to come to work and love what we do!

Back in the 1970s, Russ Brown was going around motorcycle clubs offering free legal advice. He quickly became a motorcycle lawyer and was the first lawyer to represent a motorcyclist. “I wanted to say how grateful I am to this organization and its members. I signed up a year ago before I started riding. Today, seven miles from home, my battery died. I was alone on Sunday, riding my bike alone. All my friends had already left for our annual trip to Vegas. , and I had no one. BAM found someone with a trailer to drop the bike off at the mechanic and drop me off at home! I know what to do. I can when Bam calls me!”
