We are grateful to the hundreds of attorneys who regularly receive free referrals. We’d like to highlight one of these pro bono attorneys: Jen Walker of Walker Law Firm, LLC. Last year, Jane took on the cases of three people living in Linn County who were affected by Hurricane Derecho. In one case, Jane was able to help an immigrant family that suffered extensive roof damage from a derecho. When the insurance company did not provide reimbursement to cover the cost of repairing the client’s roof, Jane engaged in a fiery defense on his behalf. As a result, the family received approximately 7 times what they were originally given and was able to cover the cost of repairing the roof.
