Tracy received his Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1992 and his B.S. from the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communication. Between college and law school, Tracy served as an artillery officer in the US Army. While in law school, Tracy served in the Alabama National Guard, and after graduation, Tracy served as a JAGC officer with the Alabama Army National Guard.
Susan and his wife Tracy have four children and three grandchildren. In his spare time, Tracy enjoys family, travel (he has been to all 50 states, 24 counties and 27 major league baseball stadiums), and sports. Tracy plays bass guitar in church praise as often as possible.
Tracy was born in Kansas and raised in Florida in a large family. As a teenager, Tracy expanded his musical interests and toured 45 states playing guitar and bass in a Christian band that performed in prisons, churches and schools. Later, Tracy spent a semester studying the Bible in Capernwray, Lancashire, England.

Tracy put herself through college and law school, sometimes working three jobs to pay for her education. Tracy graduated from the College of Journalism and Communication at the University of Florida and joined the US Army, where he was appointed as a cycle leader in basic training, then graduated from the Army Officers’ College, where he was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the field artillery. . After completing a three-year tour of duty in the “Big Red” Army, Tracy attended the University of Alabama School of Law, graduating in December 1992. During and after law school, Tracy served as a Captain in the Alabama Army National Guard. both in the Field Artillery and the Judge-General’s Corps.
After law school, Tracy clerked for the Alabama Supreme Court Hugh Maddox and was an associate attorney. After serving on the Alabama Supreme Court, Tracy began his practice exclusively in civil litigation.
The quality of legal services provided is not higher than that of other lawyers. Ted was born in Opelika, Alabama, later Gadsden, Alabama and lived most of his life in Birmingham. His law practice is based in Alabama, although he represents clients in neighboring states. Ted represents people who have suffered personal injury and wrongful death cases against the nation’s largest universities. He has tried more than 100 jury cases and settled the cases of more than 7,500 clients, resulting in outstanding recoveries.

Georgia, Mann Potter, PC, awarded over $30,000,000,000 to class members affected by sales practices. Ted has also represented clients in Georgia, Tennessee and Mississippi where he has successfully recovered millions of injured clients in commercial transportation and product liability cases.
Ted and Venita Mann have been married for 39 years and have four wonderful children, Lacey Woodroffe + Tom Woodroffe and Nate Mann + Liz Mann. He is also very active in All Saints Episcopal Church in Alabama and enjoys spending time in the woods on his farm.
